Our young children in the Toddler Program are emotionally content and physically safe and they grow in so many ways. Our Toddler Program consists of two groups – one for young toddlers and one for older toddlers. The Bunny Den has 9 children (ages 15 months to 2 years) with two teachers. In this young group of students, the number of children is intentionally small so that they may play successfully together and learn easily with one another. Our older toddler group in the Bee Hive has 13 children (ages 2 years to 3 years) with three teachers. They learn self-help skills in leaps and bounds while playing together and satisfying their insatiable curiosity. Their verbal language increases exponentially and they practice sign language – because we know that the tongue is one of the last muscles in the body to become trained! Toddlers have so much to say and we help them express their feelings in highly effective ways while they paint, sing, dance, hike, swim, slide, dig and so much more.
